Like most every American, I was profoundly woken up on September 11, 2001. Two questions plagued me as I watched the Twin Towers crumble, the Pentagon in flames, and the crash of Flight 93. Who did this and why do they want “me” dead? From that moment on, I have been on a journey to find that answer. When I learned the people who committed this act of war on the United States were all Islamic and devout Muslims, I had to learn who these people were first hand. I visited our local Mosque on at least 25 occasions over the span of a year and half to learn who these people are first hand. I attended several Introduction to Islam classes which were advertised and open to the public, a CAIR symposium at the Mosque (with Sami Al-Arian) as a panelist, and numerous Friday night services. On my last and final visit to the Mosque I had a one on one discussion with the community Outreach Director for the Mosque. In a discussion on current events, the Mosque outreach Director drew a map of the Middle East on the blackboard, over that map he drew a Star of David covering the entire Middle East. I told him that if it was Israel’s true goal to take over the entire Middle East why did they voluntarily give up the Sinai Peninsula and West Bank in land for Peace deals with her Arab neighbors. The Muslim Outreach Director responded, “It’s all part of Israel’s master plan.” It was then that I learned even the so called “moderate” Muslims at this Mosque were a bit off and full of hate in their world view – once you scratched surface and the their truth came flowing out in an unguarded moment.
From there I read the Koran given to me by the Outreach Director several times along with much of the Sunnah and Hadiths. I learned the Koran was the literal word of God/Allah via Gabriel to Mohammad. For a Muslim to question the Koran, Mohammad, or Sunnah was blasphemy and the offender could be put to death under Sharia (Islamic) Law. I learned Islam means the complete submission of your soul and life to Allah and his political doctrine called Islam. I learned that Mohammad/Allah gave the OK for Abrogation of earlier verses in the Koran for the later more violent verses. I learned Islam is a Political Doctrine that controls every Muslims life from the individual, to the family, to the community, to the State, social, and religion, through a political system enforced by Sharia Law. I learned there is NO separation of Church and State in the Islamic world view. I learned there is little tolerance for non-believers of all stripes. I learned when Muslims reach a super minority status in their host country they begin demanding special accommodations for their Islamic Political Doctrine rather than assimilating into their hosts country cultural fabric. Look no further than Britain, after numerous Muslim violent riots and mayhem, passed a law making a Sharia Courts decisions legally binding and enforceable, even if at odds with British Parliamentary Law. I learned that groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) share the identical world view mentioned above. I learned that CAIR and the Islamists are deathly afraid of this truth about their world view becoming common knowledge and use OUR individual freedoms against us. CAIR uses our Judiciary to file lawsuits and negatively labels any person or group who reveals these truths mentioned above in public, as being hate mongers, bigoted, Islamophobes, etc… I learned Muslims will always play the victim card when it is in fact US who are the victims of an intolerant and hate filled Islamic Political Doctrine which is at direct odds with our U.S. Constitution.
